Your natural ethical shopping list

Stock up and be ready for a new healthy way of eating

Now that you’ve decided how far up the ethical ladder you want to climb, you can stock up your pantry and your veg basket with delicious, healthy food to suit your new way of life and also benefit the planet.

The lists below are all structured around what we have decided is natural and ethical, and each item will also be tagged with the relevant blood types. All are ‘neutral’ for each blood type, unless marked as ‘beneficial’ in bold.

Foods which should be avoided for the blood type are not listed, so please check on the Dr Dadamo website if you want to eat any food that I have not listed. In fact, best to check the foods anyway, because Dr Dadamo is constantly updating the lists from ongoing research.

All foods that are listed are for secretor status only. If you want to know more about secretor status, go to http://www.dadamo.com/txt/index.pl?1008).

For more information about the blood type diet in general, go to http://www.dadamo.com/ and for more information on blood type suitability for individual food types, go to http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/typeindexer.htm

A general alkaline indicator has also been added to the list of fruit, so that you have all the information at hand in one place.

So, stock up on foods that are not only the healthiest choices, but which also suit your blood type.

Make sure that wherever possible you choose organic foods.

Fruit is the most natural ethical food you can eat, so it comes first in the list. Fruits are listed by blood type, as discussed above, and also includes fruit mixing indicators for those who are careful about which fruits they eat together.

So there you have it – your shopping list by blood type. If you want to check anything that is not listed above, you can do so here: https://dadamo.com/typebase4/typebase5/T5.pl?433

Recipes on this blog will take into account the above guidance, hopefully making it easier for you to decide. However, it’s your choice. I found that some of the “avoid” foods for my blood type (B) are fine for me, such as lentils.

Bon appetit!
